Geoinformatics is an important technology for the management of resources. Geoinformatics is a modern discipline which integrates acquisition, modeling, analysis and management of spatially referenced data i.e. data identified according to their locations. The aim of the course is to provide in depth understanding of remote sensing, satellite image analysis, geographic information system (GIS) and GNSS technologies and their applications in various fields such as agriculture and soils, forestry & ecology, geosciences, water resources, marine & atmospheric sciences, urban & regional studies, large scale mapping etc.
